Bathrooms

Indoor men's and women's bathrooms with hot and cold water are available. We keep them very clean.

Hot Showers

There are two outdoor (but private) showers with hot water and the ability to lock yourself in. There is one heated, indoor shower for winter.

Camp Shop

The camp shop offers wood, ice, charcoal, coffee, sodas, snacks, canned goods, T-shirts, lanterns and things that people forget - like marshmallows, condiments, toiletries etc... We try to stay stocked in our busy season with steaks, burgers and hotdogs. Please call ahead to see what we have in stock!

We also have a small assortment of games we can lend out, which are a great boredom buster in inclement weather.

Firewood

A bag of firewood may be purchased for $7.00 and does not include kindling. You may collect small kindling, or purchase a bundle of it here for $5.00. Outside firewood may not be brought in due to potential insect or tree disease as stated by The Maryland DNR policy. We are surrounded on 3 sides by the state forestry.

Appalachian Trail

The camp backs up to the Appalachian Trail.

Garbage

Campers may dispose of bagged trash in a dumpster at the camp. We also have recycling receptacles. Please remember to bring your own trash bags.

Happy Campers

"Super clean facilities, very friendly owners/staff, fun and quirky place to camp! Loved it! Waking up to the sound of hooting owls was a bonus. The Appalachian Trail is very close by, as is a lovely pottery shop."

Janelle B.

"Super kind host and very convenient to find forgotten items. The bathroom and shower were clean and colorful dumpsters were easy to find. It is going to be my favorite place."

Ji H.

"Excellent place to camp with your own tent or by renting a treehouse cabin. The grounds are clean and maintained. Bathhouse has a nice changing area and plenty of hot water. Sites are non-electric but it's nice to be unplugged while enjoying your camping experience. Staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!"
