About our Tree Cottages

Our tree cottages are built on stilts, eight to ten feet off the ground with small porches and are insulated for year-round use.

Four older and four newer cottages are available for reservations. None of our tree cottages have electricity. Two of the older cottages have been recently remodeled and are equipped with two double and two single beds with mattresses. Some of the newer cottages have queen or king sized mattresses.

All of our cottages offer an indoor table and chairs / benches and a wood stove (for winter heating and cooking). Each site has an outdoor fire circle, grill and picnic table. Tree cottages have mattresses with vinyl covers. You bring sheets, pillows, bedding, cookware, a lantern and flashlights.

All sites are guaranteed one parking space. Some sites can fit a few cars. Groups may need to use our overflow parking lot then hike up to your site. Please call the office to ask about accessibility and parking if you have multiple cars.

Happy Campers

"Great for couples and small groups. We really enjoyed the peaceful night in the treehouse cottage. A ton of space and it was very warm with the wood stove going. Would reccomend for those who want a break from reality!"

"We loved it here! We stayed in the Bonsai house and it was great for our family of 5. Went tubing in Harper's Ferry which was a short ride. Tons to do in the area we will be back next year!!!"

Julie M.

"Will always love this spot. We had Willow cottage this time... don’t expect anything posh... just the great luxury of having a camping experience with a roofed area and WARMTH. The folks that run this spot are terrific... the location is great... super quiet in the late fall and winter. Endless trails for all levels of hiking. A great spot for an escape."

Catherine R.

"Just got back from a nice day spent at the treehouse camp. We stayed in the Willow cottage and best believe with the insulation and wonderful stove you are kept nice and toasty. I highly recommend this location for your camping needs. Four minutes from an amazing winery and only ten minutes from Harper's ferry. The owners were so nice and friendly and allowed us to borrow a game. We left the wood we didn't use and we hope that yall pay it forward to the next campers. Hope to make it back this summer to rent the cute Hobbit House."

Check In & Check Out

Check in is anytime after 2 pm. Please call if you will be checking in later than 9 pm on Fridays, or after 5 pm Saturday–Thursday. Check out is 12 pm. We prefer no one arrives after 11 pm without prior permission.

Please Note: All deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel, your deposit will shift to a Sunday through Thursday credit. No shows and no call will be charged for entire reservation.

If you have never been here, please contact us so we can make sure you get the right spot. There is a difference between the new cottages and the older cottages, new tree houses and older tree houses. However, it is all camping. There are a lot of pictures on our Facebook page. Some people prefer things more rustic, but, if that is not you, please book a new structure.

Cottages and treehouses tend to book a few months out on week ends, but there is generally availability last minute Sunday through Thursday... which is a good time to be here if you can get away. It never hurts to call Friday morning to see if there were any cancellations, or call Saturday morning to see if there were No Shows.

Please don't hesitate to communicate with us ahead of your arrival, early in the day if possible, if you have special needs so we can do our best to help you.
