Maple Tree Campground is located near Harpers Ferry, West Virginia and is close to Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland. Our unique lodging includes our NEW Hobbit House, cozy Tree Cottages, rustic Tree Houses and Tent Camp Sites. All are equipped with fire circles, picnic tables and charcoal grills (excluding tent sites). Our campground facilities offer newly remodeled bathrooms, private outdoor hot showers, garbage disposal, multi-use pavilion and a camp shop stocking firewood, charcoal, ice, frozen steaks, salmon steaks, chicken and other foods and camping items you may have forgotten to pack. We are also pet friendly!
Over the years the campground has enjoyed many visits from boy scouts and girl scouts, as well as youth groups from all walks. A 10% group discount is extended to all scout groups and all groups over 25 individuals; given as a refund after a 'leave no trace' check-out.
Our Camp Pavilion makes a great setting for weddings, family reunions, birthday parties, corporate team building, film festivals, music, dancing, church services, day camps and much more. We have had many magical weddings over the years where the party booked the entire campground for the weekend, enjoying the extended time with family and friends. Our pavilion offers a beautiful view and is furnished with a small stage, electricity and a large adjacent cook house.
